1. When refunds apply
Refunds are processed only against confirmed cancellations as per our Cancellation policy, or where a service was not delivered as committed by Travel Shop.
2. Visa refusal — our money-back promise
If a visa we filed is refused for documentary errors on our part, we refund our service fee in full and re-file the case at no additional service charge. Embassy / VFS fees, which are non-refundable to us, are not covered.
3. How refunds are calculated
Refund amount = (amount paid) minus (non-refundable supplier charges) minus (Travel Shop service charges, where applicable). The exact computation is shared in writing before the refund is initiated.
4. Processing time
Refund initiation: within 7 working days of cancellation confirmation. Bank credit: an additional 5–10 working days depending on your card issuer or bank. International refunds may take longer.
5. Mode of refund
Refunds are issued to the original payment instrument. UPI, bank transfer and card refunds follow standard banking timelines.
6. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund computation, write to info@travelshop.org.in with your reference number. We aim to resolve disputes within 10 working days.
